The Training Network is Recognized by Compliance Magazine
for Its User-Friendly Site
Pittsboro, NC - 18 April 2003 - It's quite a compliment when
one of your customers submits your work for an award. And it's
an absolute thrill when that submission wins!
Imagine Blast Internet Services' pride on learning that the online
presence it designed for The Training Network has been recognized
by Compliance Magazine as one of the Most User-Friendly sites
on the web. Winners are to be announced in the publication's May
issue, with awards presented during the American Industrial Hygiene
Conference and Exposition on May 12.
Betty Hintch, Editor of Compliance Magazine, says, "Compliance
Magazine's Best of the Web Safety Award was designed to recognize
efforts by safety companies to develop excellence in Web design,
site content and organization, e-commerce features, and online
training offerings. Our panel of judges was impressed with the
quality of the entries."
Blast created the overall design for The Training Network site,
and also developed a business to business e-commerce solution
that allows for their unique preview program and promotional offers
of the company's safety videos. Account Manager Doug Phelps says,
"The Training Network presented us with some new challenges.
They have a very well thought out strategy and approach to achieving
their online goals. Creating the tools to allow them to meet their
objectives, while maintaining an easy to use site for their clients,
required a great deal of collaboration between our programming
and design teams. I think the final product delivers the perfect
balance of features and usability."
Laura Grover, The Training Network's Sales and Marketing Director
says, "We brought Blast in to work on our web site because
we knew of their expertise in developing online catalog sales'
sites. They have been an excellent match for accomplishing our
objectives."
